Leavesden Studios
Leavesden Studios, now Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, is a major film production facility located near the village of Leavesden in Hertfordshire, approximately two miles east of Watford and 16 miles northwest of central London. The studios were established in the early 1990s on the site of a former Rolls-Royce aero-engine factory and airfield, and became internationally famous as the primary filming location for the Harry Potter film series. The studio complex is now a leading production facility and tourist destination, with the Warner Bros. Studio Tour The Making of Harry Potter attracting millions of visitors annually.
