Findlater Castle
Findlater Castle is a ruined clifftop fortress on the Moray Firth coast of Aberdeenshire, Scotland, near the village of Sandend. Perched dramatically on a rocky promontory, the castle dates back to the 14th century and was largely abandoned by the late 16th century. Little remains beyond fragments of walls, but its dramatic coastal setting continues to draw visitors and photographers. The site's isolation and rugged scenery have made it a striking filming backdrop.
