Project Hail Mary
2026
Ryland Grace, a school teacher and scientist, wakes alone on an interstellar spacecraft with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As his memories slowly return, he realises he is the last hope for humanity, sent on a desperate solo mission to find a way to stop a mysterious organism that is draining energy from the sun and threatening all life on Earth. Far from home and facing impossible odds, he makes an unexpected discovery that may offer both companionship and a solution. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and based on Andy Weir's 2021 novel.
