Pinewood Studios
Pinewood Studios is one of the most famous film and television production facilities in the world, located near Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire, approximately 20 miles west of central London. Founded in 1936 in a converted Victorian mansion, the studio complex has grown to encompass over 30 sound stages and extensive outdoor facilities, and has hosted productions including the James Bond series, the Star Wars franchise, and numerous other major international films. Pinewood is the centrepiece of the British film production industry and in recent years has expanded significantly with additional stages and facilities.
