King’s Cross Station

King's Cross Station, Kings Cross, London, England

King's Cross is a mainline railway terminus in the London Borough of Islington, adjacent to St Pancras International station. It was opened in 1852 as the London terminus of the Great Northern Railway and is now one of the busiest stations in the UK, serving the East Coast Main Line with trains to cities including Leeds, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen. The station underwent major redevelopment in the early 21st century, including the creation of a new western concourse with a distinctive roof structure. It is also a major London Underground interchange station served by six lines, and is well known for its association with the Harry Potter series.
