Withnail And I
1986
Two out-of-work actors, the dissolute Withnail and his unnamed friend, escape London for a disastrous holiday in a remote Lake District cottage belonging to Withnail's eccentric and predatory Uncle Monty. Bruce Robinson's cult comedy is a brilliantly observed portrait of late-1960s bohemian decline.
