The A40 Oxford Road at Bakers Wood near Denham was used for filming the veteran car rally route scenes, with much of the race shot on roads around Pinewood Studios rather than the actual Brighton road.

The climactic scene was filmed on Westminster Bridge, where Genevieve's brakes fail and the car rolls onto the bridge, winning the bet between the two teams of drivers.
