Yiewsley

Yiewsley is a district in the London Borough of Hillingdon in west London, situated on the east bank of the Grand Union Canal adjacent to West Drayton. The area developed as an industrial and working-class residential community during the 19th and early 20th centuries, associated with canal trade, gravel extraction, and light manufacturing. It merges with the surrounding communities of West Drayton and Uxbridge and has no distinct town centre. Yiewsley is close to Heathrow Airport and is served by Elizabeth line services from Hayes and Harlington station.
