Brighton
Brighton is a seaside city on the East Sussex coast of southern England, forming part of the city of Brighton and Hove which was granted city status in 2000. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in England, known for its Georgian and Victorian seafront architecture, the iconic Brighton Pier, and the Royal Pavilion, an extravagant Regency-era palace built for the Prince Regent. The city has a vibrant cultural scene, a large student population, and excellent rail connections to London approximately 50 miles to the north.
