Hope Gap

Hope Gap is a British drama about Grace and Edward, a couple married for 29 years who live in a seaside town in Seaford, Sussex. When their adult son Jamie visits for the weekend, Edward privately tells him he plans to leave Grace and begin a new life with another woman. The film follows the emotional aftermath of the separation, tracking three lives through stages of shock, disbelief, and anger toward an uncertain resolution. Unraveled and displaced, Grace must ultimately find a way to reclaim her sense of self and forge a new life.
