Windsor Great Park
Windsor Great Park is a large royal park covering approximately 4,800 acres in Berkshire and Surrey, adjoining Windsor Castle to the south and stretching toward Ascot and Virginia Water. The park has been a royal hunting ground for centuries and contains notable features including the Long Walk, a three-mile tree-lined avenue leading from Windsor Castle, the Savill Garden, and the Virginia Water ornamental lake. Windsor Great Park is managed by the Crown Estate and is largely open to the public, hosting the annual Royal Windsor Horse Show and various other events.
