St. Sofia’s Greek Cathedral

St. Sophia's Cathedral is the Greek Orthodox cathedral for the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, located on Moscow Road in the Bayswater district of west London. The cathedral was built between 1877 and 1882 in a Byzantine Revival style and is a striking example of 19th-century ecclesiastical architecture in London. It serves as the principal church for the Greek Orthodox community in Britain and is a Grade II* listed building situated in a residential neighbourhood close to Hyde Park.
