Penzance
Penzance is a town and unitary authority area in west Cornwall, England, situated at the western end of Mount's Bay approximately ten miles east of Land's End. It is the most westerly major town in mainland England and the terminus of the Great Western Main Line from London Paddington, as well as the departure point for ferry services to the Isles of Scilly. The town has a historic granite seafront and promenade, the art deco Jubilee Pool lido, and a pedestrianised town centre with a market house. Penzance is noted for its mild climate owing to the influence of the Gulf Stream.
