Kensington
Kensington is an affluent district in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in west London, situated immediately west of Hyde Park. The area is home to several of London's most significant cultural institutions, concentrated in the area around Exhibition Road known as Albertopolis, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the Science Museum. Kensington Palace, a royal residence and the childhood home of Queen Victoria, stands at the western edge of Hyde Park and is open to the public.
