Isle of Skye
The Isle of Skye is the largest and most northerly island of the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, located off the northwest coast of the Scottish mainland and connected to it by a road bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. The island is known for its rugged and dramatic landscape, including the Cuillin mountain range, the Quiraing and Trotternish ridge landslips, and a deeply indented coastline of sea lochs and peninsulas. Portree is the island's main town and administrative centre, and Skye is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Scotland.
