Goathland Station is a station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a heritage steam railway, located in the village of Goathland on the North York Moors. The station was built in 1865 and has retained much of its Victorian character, including its original stone buildings and period platform furniture. It is widely known as the fictional Hogsmeade Station in the Harry Potter films, as well as serving as Aidensfield Halt in the long-running television series Heartbeat, which was filmed in the surrounding village. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs for eighteen miles between Pickering and Grosmont.
