Glen Uig
Glen Uig is a remote valley on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. The glen is associated with the area around Uig, a small village and ferry port on the northern shore of Loch Snizort, from which ferries depart to the Outer Hebrides. The surrounding landscape is characterised by the volcanic basalt geology of the Trotternish ridge, with distinctive rock formations and moorland scenery.
