Eton College
Eton College is an independent boarding school for boys located in the town of Eton in Berkshire, directly across the River Thames from Windsor Castle. Founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious secondary schools in England, and has educated nineteen British Prime Ministers. The college is characterised by its distinctive buildings, including the fifteenth-century College Chapel, and by its traditional dress code of tailcoats. The school plays a number of sports on its extensive playing fields, including a distinctive form of football known as the Eton Wall Game.
