East Finchley

East Finchley is a suburban district in the London Borough of Barnet in north London, served by the Northern line Underground station of the same name. The area is predominantly residential with Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, a local high street along the High Road, and several parks including Cherry Tree Wood. East Finchley borders Muswell Hill, Finchley, Hampstead Garden Suburb, and Highgate. The area is notable for its art deco Underground station designed by Charles Holden in 1939.
