Anwoth

Anwoth is a small rural parish in Dumfries and Galloway, southwest Scotland, situated near the town of Gatehouse of Fleet. The area is characterised by rolling farmland, ancient woodland, and the ruins of Anwoth Old Kirk, a 17th-century church associated with the Covenanting minister Samuel Rutherford. The surrounding landscape features the Water of Fleet and lies within easy reach of the Galloway Forest Park.
