A paranormal researcher assembles a small team to investigate Hill House, a notoriously evil mansion with a disturbing history, only for the supernatural forces within to begin targeting the most psychically sensitive member of the group. This remake of the 1963 classic leans heavily on CGI spectacle, to more divisive results than its predecessor.
