Mansfield Park
1999
Fanny Price, a timid young woman sent to live with her wealthy relatives at Mansfield Park, grows up to find her quiet moral strength tested by the arrival of glamorous and disruptive outsiders. Patricia Rozema's adaptation of Jane Austen's novel takes considerable creative liberties, incorporating elements of Austen's own letters and juvenilia.
