Jabberwocky
1977
Set in a grimy medieval kingdom loosely inspired by Lewis Carroll, a hapless young man stumbles toward the city seeking his fortune while a monstrous Jabberwocky terrorises the surrounding countryside. Terry Gilliam's grotesque comedy is a darkly absurdist take on chivalric legend, full of mud, rats, and deadpan anachronism.
