Enigma
2001
Set in 1943, a brilliant Polish mathematician working as a codebreaker at Bletchley Park races to crack a new German Enigma cipher while also investigating a possible mole within the operation. The Scottish scenes, in which protagonist Tom Jericho drives north in pursuit of Puck, were filmed at Tigh Beg Croft near Oban in Argyll and Bute, with additional shots at Loch Feochan showing Puck departing by boat.
