Devon
Devon is a large county in South West England, notable for being the only English county to have two separate coastlines, facing the Bristol Channel to the north and the English Channel to the south. The county's interior is dominated by two upland areas: Dartmoor, a high granite moorland national park, and Exmoor, which straddles the border with Somerset. Devon is renowned for its deep, winding lanes, red sandstone cliffs, and the rolling hills of the South Hams. Exeter is the county town and only city, while Plymouth and Torquay are among the largest coastal settlements.
