A group of passengers stranded overnight at a rural railway station discover the supposedly haunted Ghost Train is being used as cover for a gang of criminals smuggling contraband into the country. Based on Arnold Ridley's long-running stage play, the film is a comedic mystery thriller with wartime-era charm.
