Filming Locations

• Bedale Street

  Bedale Street in Borough Market was used as the exterior of Bridget's flat above The Globe pub, and the street's shops were transformed into the cab office, newsagent and Greek restaurant where Daniel Cleaver and Mark Darcy have their fight.

• Borough Market

  Bridget walks through Borough Market in a key scene after discovering Daniel Cleaver with "Lara from the New York office", with the market's Victorian architecture providing a backdrop for the south London neighbourhood.

• Dickens & Jones

  The Dickins & Jones department store on Regent Street was used for the scene in which Bridget's mother demonstrates the "strangely erotic egg peeler".

• Liverpool Street Station

  Liverpool Street Station was used as a filming location, though the railway scenes shot here were ultimately cut from the theatrical release and appear only in deleted scenes on the DVD.

• Piccadilly Circus

  Piccadilly Circus features in the film when Bridget runs through the area while rushing late to the Kafka's Motorbike book launch.

• Royal Courts Of Justice

  The Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand was used for the scene where Bridget bungles her assignment covering an extradition case for the TV show Sit Up Britain.

• Snowshill

  The family home and party were filmed here.

• Stoke Poges Golf Club

  This was the country club and boating lake location where Bridget Jones and Daniel Cleaver bump into Mark Darcy.

• Tate Modern

  The Level 9 Restaurant at Tate Modern in Bankside was used for the scenes where Bridget meets her friends Shazza, Jude and Tom to gossip.

• The Globe Pub, Borough High Street

  Bridget's flat was located just above the pub.
