After the sudden passing of Sarah, a passionate baker with a dream of opening her own bakery in Notting Hill, London, her daughter Clarissa sets out to honour that dream. She enlists the help of Sarah's best friend Isabella and her estranged grandmother Mimi to make it a reality. Together, these three generations of women must overcome grief, personal differences, and self-doubt to bring the beloved bakery to life. Along the way, they celebrate multiculturalism by offering treats from cultures around the world, reflecting the vibrant diversity of London.
