Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales

Tenby (Dinbych-y-Pysgod in Welsh) is a walled seaside town on the Pembrokeshire coast in south-west Wales, with an attractive harbour, four beaches, and a well-preserved medieval town centre. The town's medieval walls, built in the 13th century and still largely intact, encircle the old town with its colourful Georgian houses that form one of the most photographed scenes in Wales. Tenby is the departure point for boat trips to Caldey Island, home to a community of Cistercian monks, and is located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The town is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Wales, attracting visitors to its beaches, history, and lively town centre.
