Felbrigg Hall
Felbrigg Hall is a 17th-century country house in Norfolk, England, situated near the village of Felbrigg approximately two miles south-west of Cromer on the north Norfolk coast. The house was built in the 1620s for the Windham family and features a striking Jacobean south front with the Latin inscription GLORIA DEO IN EXCELSIS carved in large letters across the parapet. It is now owned by the National Trust and contains a remarkable largely intact collection of 18th-century furniture, books, and paintings accumulated by William Windham II. The surrounding estate includes a walled garden, parkland with veteran oak trees, and woodland managed for walking.
