Sally Gap
Sally Gap is a remote mountain crossroads and high moorland plateau in the Wicklow Mountains, County Wicklow, sitting at approximately 493 metres above sea level. It lies at the junction of two military roads built after the 1798 rebellion to allow government forces access to the Wicklow uplands. The surrounding landscape is characterised by open blanket bog, heather moorland, and the headwaters of the River Liffey, which rises nearby.
