Pickering Station
Pickering railway station is the southern terminus of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a heritage steam railway located in the town of Pickering in North Yorkshire. The station building dates from 1845 and has been restored to reflect a 1930s appearance, in keeping with the railway's heritage character. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs north from Pickering through Goathland and across the North York Moors to Grosmont, where it connects with the mainline Esk Valley Railway. The station is a popular starting point for visitors to the North York Moors National Park.
