Chobham Common
Chobham Common is a large area of lowland heath located near the village of Chobham in Surrey, approximately four miles north of Woking. Covering approximately 1,400 acres, it is one of the largest areas of lowland heath in south-east England and has been designated as a National Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The common supports a rich variety of habitats including heathland, boggy hollows, and scrub, and is home to all six of Britain's native reptile species. The area is managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust and is open for public access.
