Worthing Beach

Worthing Beach is a broad, shingle and sand beach stretching along the Sussex coast for several miles at the seaside town of Worthing, in West Sussex. The beach is dominated by a seafront promenade, a Victorian pier, and a range of cafes and amusements, and is backed by the low-lying townscape of Worthing, which lies at the foot of the South Downs. Worthing is approximately eleven miles west of Brighton and is one of the largest seaside towns on the Sussex coast, popular with day-trippers from London and local residents alike.
