Wicklow

Wicklow, Republic of Ireland

Wicklow is a county on the east coast of Ireland, immediately south of Dublin, in the province of Leinster. It is known as the Garden of Ireland due to its varied and scenic landscape, which includes the Wicklow Mountains, Ireland's largest upland area, as well as wooded valleys, rivers, and a sandy coastline. The Wicklow Mountains National Park covers a large portion of the county's interior. Wicklow town is the county town, while Bray in the north is the largest settlement.
