Wicklow Gap
The Wicklow Gap is a mountain pass in the Wicklow Mountains, County Wicklow, cutting through the upland plateau between Glendalough to the north and Hollywood to the south via the R756 road. The pass reaches an elevation of approximately 474 metres and offers extensive views across the surrounding moorland and mountain scenery. It forms part of a popular scenic driving route through the Wicklow Mountains and is used by cyclists and walkers. The landscape at the gap is characterised by open blanket bog and the headwaters of the King's River.
