West Wycombe Park

West Wycombe Park, West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England

West Wycombe Park is an 18th-century Palladian mansion and landscaped parkland estate located in the village of West Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, three miles west of High Wycombe. The house was built for Sir Francis Dashwood, founder of the Hellfire Club, and features a distinctive classical colonnade; it is set within grounds designed in the Rococo landscape style with ornamental temples, a lake, and garden buildings. The estate is owned by the National Trust and is a Grade I listed building within a wider area of historic interest that includes the adjacent West Wycombe village and its chalk hillside caves.
