Wembley Stadium

Wembley Stadium, Wembley, London, England

Wembley Stadium is the national football stadium of England and the second-largest stadium in Europe, located in Wembley, north-west London, with a capacity of 90,000 seats. The current stadium was completed in 2007 on the site of the original Wembley Stadium, which had been opened in 1923 and demolished in 2003. Its defining architectural feature is a 133-metre arch that spans the stadium roof and is visible from across London. The stadium hosts FA Cup Finals, England home international matches, NFL games, and major concerts, and served as the centrepiece of the 2012 London Olympics football programme.
