Turnaware Point
Turnaware Point is a headland on the Fal Estuary in Cornwall, situated on the eastern bank of the River Fal, near the village of Philleigh in the Roseland Peninsula. The point marks a narrowing of the estuary known as the Carrick Roads, one of the deepest natural harbours in the world, and offers views across the water toward Tolverne on the opposite shore. The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the Cornwall AONB, characterised by wooded creeks, ancient hedgerows, and a peaceful, largely unspoilt rural landscape.
