Todmorden

Todmorden is a market town in the Upper Calder Valley, West Yorkshire, near the Lancashire border, historically part of the textile milling industry. The town retains many Victorian mill buildings, a notable town hall straddling the county boundary, and steep surrounding hillsides. Its well-preserved industrial architecture and Pennine backdrop have made it a popular filming location, particularly for period television dramas. The town is also known for its 'Incredible Edible' community food-growing initiative.
