Thomason Foss Waterfall

Thomason Foss is a picturesque waterfall located in Newtondale on the North York Moors, near the village of Goathland in North Yorkshire. The waterfall drops into a deeply wooded gorge cut by the Eller Beck stream and is accessible via a woodland walk from Goathland, a popular moorland village also known as Aidensfield from the television series Heartbeat. The surrounding area of the North York Moors is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty characterised by open heather moorland and deeply incised wooded valleys known as becks.
