The Georgian Group in Fitzroy Square
The Georgian Group is an architectural heritage charity whose offices are located at 6 Fitzroy Square in Fitzrovia, London. Fitzroy Square is a Georgian square designed by Robert Adam and completed in the early 19th century, with listed facades forming the east and south sides of the square. Number 6 has historic literary associations with George Bernard Shaw, who lived there in the 1880s and 1890s, and with Virginia Woolf. The square lies in the London Borough of Camden, north of Oxford Street.
