Temple Place
Temple Place is a street and Victorian Gothic building situated on the Victoria Embankment in the City of Westminster, London, close to the boundary with the City of London. The building, also known as Astor House, was constructed in 1895 as the London estate office of William Waldorf Astor and is notable for its ornate stone carvings and decorative ironwork. It stands adjacent to the Embankment Gardens and is near Temple Underground station. The building now operates as an arts venue and exhibition space.
