St. Helens

St. Helens is a large metropolitan borough and town in Merseyside, northwest England, historically associated with the coal mining and glass manufacturing industries, and home to Pilkington Glass. St. Helens lies between Liverpool to the west and Manchester to the east, approximately 12 miles from both city centres.
