Shoreham Airport
Brighton City Airport, formerly known as Shoreham Airport, is a small regional airport located near the town of Shoreham-by-Sea in West Sussex, adjacent to the River Adur. It is one of the oldest licensed airports in the United Kingdom, with the current terminal building dating from 1936 and considered one of the finest Art Deco airport buildings in the world; it is a Grade II* listed structure. The airport handles general aviation, flight training, and limited commercial operations. It is visible from the A27 road and lies close to the South Downs National Park.
