Ripon Racecourse
Ripon Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing venue situated on the banks of the River Ure, approximately one mile from Ripon city centre in North Yorkshire. The course is known as the 'Garden Racecourse' owing to its attractive setting and well-maintained floral displays, and is considered one of the most scenic racecourses in the north of England. Ripon hosts flat racing from April to September each year, typically staging around 16 race days in the season. The course has a circuit of approximately 13 furlongs and is particularly noted for its sprint track.
