Regents Park

Regents Park, London, England

Regent's Park is a large royal park of 395 acres in the City of Westminster and the London Borough of Camden, in the inner northern part of London. The park was designed by John Nash in the early 19th century as part of a grand urban planning scheme and is enclosed by elegant Nash-designed terraces of stucco-fronted townhouses. It contains London Zoo, the Open Air Theatre, Queen Mary's Gardens with its large rose collection, and boating lake, and is encircled by the Outer Circle and Inner Circle roads.
