Ramsey

Ramsey, Isle of Man, England

Ramsey is the second largest town on the Isle of Man, located on the northeast coast of the island at the mouth of the Sulby River on Ramsey Bay. The town has a small harbour and was historically an important fishing and trading port. It is the northern terminus of the Manx Electric Railway, a Victorian tram service running along the east coast of the island to Douglas. The surrounding area includes Ramsey Bay and the upland of North Barrule, one of the higher summits of the island.
