Portsmouth Naval Dockyard

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is a section of Her Majesty's Naval Base Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, preserved as a maritime heritage attraction. It is home to several significant historic warships including HMS Victory, Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, and HMS Warrior, the world's first armoured iron-hulled warship. The dockyard complex includes 18th and 19th-century storehouses, boat houses, and the National Museum of the Royal Navy. Portsmouth has been a major Royal Navy base since the 12th century.
