Pearse Street Train Station, Dublin, Republic of Ireland

Pearse Street Station, officially known as Dublin Pearse, is a suburban and intercity railway station in the south inner city of Dublin, situated on Pearse Street in the Georgian quarter. It is one of the oldest railway stations in Ireland, originally opened as Westland Row station in 1834 as the terminus of the Dublin and Kingstown Railway, the first passenger railway in Ireland. The station is served by DART services along the coast as well as commuter and intercity trains on the south and southeast lines. It is named in honour of Patrick Pearse, the Irish revolutionary and leader of the 1916 Easter Rising.
